Tucson 2025
Tucson was fabulous this year! It was sunny and warm, a welcome change. Peter accompanied me and was a great help. We collect as much information about the gems and pearls as possible. Pearls were at the top of my list this year. We found amazing Tahitians, Edison Freshwater and more. The colors are vibrant and metallic, my favorite. I love the organic shapes of keshi and wait till you see the purple Edison!
I was also very attracted to Amethyst this year. It looks so ‘grapey’ and pretty, not to mention it elevates our 7th chakra, sooths and calms us. I also bought Moonstones, Tourmaline, Angelite and more. Come see!
Tucson has many different shows all over the city, I attend at least six. One can experience every facet of the gem and jewelry industry, here I am testing an arc welder.
Tucson is full of energy from the gems and the people. Every year, Tucson reminds me of who I am, recharges my batteries and makes me excited to create. It’s a treat to see old friends and make new. This year my dear friend Marie brought her daughter, Brooke (23) for the first time. It was so much fun to share with her having known her her whole life. See Brooke below with her gemstone attributes book. She dove right in and enjoyed rock hunting with her mom and was a big help with hauling!
We stay at the historic Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson. The c.1919 hotel houses a great restaurant, a nightclub, taproom, Jazz Club and lounge and was the scene of the arrest of John Dillinger in 1934. The hotel is a vibrant hub of international gem folks mixed with every type of Tucsonian and it’s a fabulous place to embrace. The weather was a warm and planted the seed of spring.
Ray (‘RayRay’) Griffiths also stays there and we love catching up and having show-n-tell in the room. He’s a dear friend from from Australia based in New York City. @raygriffithsjewelry

November- Giving Back to Our Community
We are grateful to customers, followers and fans for joining Tiffany Peay Jewelry & Healing Arts in our special Giving Back to the Community initiative, held during the month of November, 2022. Tiffany Peay Jewelry donated 20% of November sales, totaling $3726, to three wonderful local causes that we believe in and support. These non-profit organizations are: the local East Bay Community Action Program (Food Bank), West Place Animal Sanctuary and Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation of Rhode Island. We are so proud of the outpouring of support from our customers and community for our November initiative.
The amount donated to each non-profit was determined by a unique interactive feature of the Giving Back to the Community initiative, in which every customer who made a purchase during November was invited to choose one of the charities to receive the donation from their purchase or equally distribute to all three. The enthusiastic response we experienced benefitted East Bay Community Action Program food bank with a donation of $1109. EBCAP provides high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health and human services to assist people to achieve their fullest potential. West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton received a donation of $1375 for the animals in their care. West Place is an amazing rehab center for wildlife, a safe home for rescued farm animals and a shining example of compassionate community. We donated $1242 to Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation. GGBCF offers access to wellness resources, support programs and services to individuals and families touched by breast cancer in our local communities.
The non-profits we selected to receive our donations were elated and full of gratitude for the incredible, community spirited customers of Tiffany Peay Jewelry. Patrick Cole from West Place Animal Sanctuary created a special tour of their facility for the merchants of Tiverton Four Corners. During this tour, we interacted with the sociable rescue animals including a new calf, Jansen. Since our tour, they have rescued many new animals in distress, including another calf, Jared. Be sure to visit West Place Animal Sanctuary when they host their public tours. Maria Gemma from Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation visited Tiffany Peay Jewelry to connect with us in person. We shared our healing arts services, focusing on Crystal Light Healing and discussed the possibilities for their clients. The Crystal Bed is a non-invasive modality accessible to all for $1/min. Learn more about it by visiting us in store or on our website at tiffanypeay.com. The East Bay Community Action Program (Food Bank) was thrilled to receive news of this donation; need is especially high during the holiday season. We have donated to the Food Bank in the past and we love supporting our local community. We are excited to build our relationships with each of these wonderful organizations and share the compassionate mission they embody. We are especially grateful to our fabulous customers who have made 25 years in business possible.
Thank you for helping us make a difference.
